Death, destruction

Terror and pain

All brought down

By crashing planes.

 

Not a second of warning

No time to run.

Just an earth shaking blast

And chaos had begun.

 

Never before

Have we seen such devastion.

Our cities in ruin

A giant blow to our nation.

 

We can pick up the pieces

Of buildings and planes.

But the blood of our fellow man

On our hearts leaves a stain.

 

We will not falter.

We will not fail.

The United States of America

Will recover and prevail.
