when heroes leave us their legacy of courage,

as the American and world flags and hearts salute very brave cities,
as we pay respect to over 3,000 lives.

when we can't accept
or forgive.

when we forget faith and prayer
and tears flow unashamedly from sea to shining sea.

for all humanity's sake, keeping nation's together.
