Shocked eyes rose to meet an infinite sky
Eyes belonging to a mangled body mingling with debris
A body that this morning, traversed under the sea.

Resuming its daily grind, this body and pair of eyes,
Went up a crystalline tower that soared into the skies,
Toiled amongst heaps of paper and then sought rest.

Taking a break, this body and pair of eyes,
Peered out below to see bodies and eyes as small as flies
A steel bird produced a ball that consumed all with its ire.
